Cattle

Calves, pigs, lambs, chickens and turkeys: Treatment and metaphylaxis of enteric infections caused by non-invasive E. coli susceptible to colistin sulfate. The presence of the disease in the herd should be established before treatment and metaphylaxis.

Oral, mix in drinking water or in milk.
Calves: 100 000 IU colistin fulfate/kg b.w./day (corresponding to 0.20 ml/10 kg b.w.), for 3-5 days.

Meat and offal: 1 day.

Pigs

Chickens and Turkeys: 75 000 IU colistin sulfate/kg b.w./day (corresponding to 15 ml/Ton b.w.) for 3-5 days.

Chickens and Turkeys:

Eggs: Zero days.
